Franchise Consulting First Steps

Franchise Consulting First Steps

With over 2,800 franchise concepts available in the United States alone, searching for the right franchise can be a daunting task.  In addition, not all franchises are created equally, and even the top rated franchises are not always the best fit for all individuals.  Our franchise consulting process takes a close look at your goals, experience, strengths, weaknesses, desired lifestyle and more to help you find the opportunities that present a realistic opportunity for long term success and happiness. This way, when you do decide to buy a franchise, you can be confident it’s the right one for you.

Our franchise consulting process starts by asking you a few basic questions. These questions then allow us to use information we’ve gained to narrow down that franchise search from 2,800 to a much more manageable number. By working through our questionnaire and providing us with valuable information, you can save yourself quite a bit of time and frustration. Working with us means finding a franchise with the right fit for you faster and easier than going it alone.

Below are a few of the questions we ask at the beginning of our consultation process:

Franchise Consultation Sample Questions

Are you looking for a business to add to your portfolio, to replace an existing job, or to make a lifestyle change? – This question tells us much about the type of investment you’re looking to make, and how this franchise opportunity is going to be a part of your life. Will it be a day-to-day job for you? Will this be your way to becoming your own boss? It all begins with this question.

Do you plan to work by yourself or hire employees? If yes to employees what is a good number to employ? Once we know the answer to this question we’re able to narrow the franchise options down to those that fit these employee parameters. We don’t want to show you a business that will require 20 employees if you don’t want to manage more than four or five.

Investment Plan

Available cash – Cash to start then loans

SBA loan

401 K Rollover

We want you to be aware of the variety of ways you can finance your new investment. We’re happy to sit down and talk through any of these that you may not be aware of, like the 401K rollover option.

Finally, we’ll provide you with a list of industries so that you can help us narrow down that franchise search even more. If we know, for example, that you’re interested in something in the Health and Fitness industry, that you’re going to use a 401K Rollover to finance your plan and that you’re willing to hire up to 10 employees we can come back to the table with several options for you to choose from.
